Africa Cup of Nations wrap: Ivory Coast, Zambia ease into semis

Didier Drogba netted a brace as Ivory Coast sent Africa Cup of Nations co-hosts Equatorial Guinea out of the tournament with a 3-0 win.
Drogba made up for a penalty miss in the first half with goals on 36 and 69 minutes, before Yaya Toure’s 81st-minute strike sealed victory.
Pre-tournament favourites Ivory Coast have yet to concede a goal in this year’s competition and move on to a semi-final clash with the winner of Sunday’s clash between Gabon and Mali.
Zambia are also through to the final four after a 3-0 defeat of 10-man Sudan.
Stophila Sunzu, Christopher Katongo and James Chamanga scored the goals, earning Zambia their first semi-final berth at the African showpiece in 16 years.
They will take on the winner of the quarter-final between Tunisia and Ghana.
