SPURS have made a £13m offer for France international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The 25-year-old stopper has been put up for sale by French club Lyon at an asking price of £16m.
But Tottenham, seeking a new number one to take over from 41-year-old Brad Friedel and misfit Heurelho Gomes, have gone in £3m lower to test Lyon’s resolve.
Spurs have also been linked with Birmingham City’s 19-year-old Jack Butland who was England’s new number three at Euro 2012.
