Cristiano Ronaldo denies accusations reason behind unhappiness is he wants more money at Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be unsettled at the club after telling reporters following the 3-0 win over Granada that he was "upset with certain people at the club."

But the Portugese captain has now denied accusations that he is looking for money at club, with his contract currently running until 2015.
"I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case," the forward said.
Ronaldo also made clear that his "motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected" by his feelings.
He added that he had "too much respect for myself and for Real Madrid to ever give less" than he is capable of.
Ronaldo missed out on this year's Ballon D'Or award to Andres Iniesta in recent weeks and reportedly was unhappy with Real's lack of support in his bid to win the title.
His two goals against Granada on Sunday took him to 10th on the club's all-time scoring list with 150, but Ronaldo's lack of celebrations suggest he was unhappy at the club and prompted speculation that unless he was rewarded with a new contract extension he may look to leave the club.
Real midfielder Kakà spoke out earlier in the week saying Ronaldo had the squad's full support and Alvaro Arbeloa echoed those sentiments yesterday:
"If Cristiano is sad and needs the support of his team-mates, then of course he is going to get it. And if it is the support of the fans, I am sure they will give it.
"In Real Madrid, we are a family. When one member is not as happy as he should be we help him. When things are not right we all help."
